How To Care For Your Cindertoella Pieces

By Hanis Ismail

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say nothing beats the excitement of having bought new jewelry! What more if that piece of jewelry has sentimental value to it. With that being said, no doubt, you’ll be wanting to wear your Cindertoella pieces forever. To make that possible, there are some simple steps to follow to avoid tarnishing, scratches, and dullness.

Below is a quick care guide for your Cindertoella pieces:

  • Avoid direct contact with perfume, detergent, and lotion.
  • These liquids may tarnish and discolour your pieces, we recommend putting on jewelry a few minutes after using perfume, body lotions, or detergent.

  • Avoid rubbing against other jewelry.
  • Minimise layering your jewelry as it can cause pieces to become intertwined and they may snag.

  • Remove before sleep, exercise, swimming, or any other strenuous physical work.
  • This prevents your jewellery from scratching should you come into contact with things like workout machines, whilst liquids like chlorine can cause the jewelry to tarnish.

  • Wipe with a soft cloth after each wear.
  • Wiping away any dust or dirt which may have built up on your pieces make it last longer. It also helps it to keep that shine!

  • Store pieces in an airtight container.
  • Containers, glass jars, or jewelry boxes make great containers for your pieces. Keeping them sealed in minimises the chances of oxidation and keeps your pieces looking brand new.
